In the late 1920s, Tucson developer John W. Murphey purchased nearly 8,000 acres of federal and state property in the Catalina Foothills where he began developing communities that later included Fairfield. A community comprised of roughly 1,600 acres with 12 different HOA neighborhoods within the larger Fairfield Community. With much of the community land being open space, there is a sense of living in the natural Sonoran desert among all it has to offer. An abundance of wildlife, vegetation and inspiring sunsets, and sunrises.
Sunrise Presidio Village, a neighborhood of 242 single-family homes, is nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Santa Catalina Mountains in Tucson, Arizona within the larger Fairfield Community.
